Individual Therapy
We offer high-quality relational, individual psychodynamic psychotherapy, and contemporary psychoanalysis for adults. The practice is designed to provide patients with a respectful, safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where they feel comfortable working on various issues.
Being a New York Psychotherapy practice based in Manhattan and Queens, as well as the health provider for New York, Florida, and Connecticut, we provide culturally sensitive treatment to match and accommodate the needs of diverse NYC. We are an LGBTQ-friendly practice.
Our approach is integrative. We truly believe that this approach is highly effective because it treats the whole person, not only the symptom like most behavioral approaches. The symptom is very often just a manifestation of the actual problem which is somewhere else. We do integrate behavioral techniques when and if needed, depending on the individual patient’s need but we always approach the work through the psychodynamic perspective. We offer short and long-term therapy, as well as various session frequencies: once to twice a week, as well as intensive psychoanalytic treatment three or four times per week, depending on the individual needs.
